COVID-19 UPDATE: WE ARE STILL OPERATING DURING THE CURRENT LOCKDOWN REGULATIONS
As UAV drone technology has continued to become more advanced, drones are being used in almost every industry sector. Our state-of-the-art drones are equipped with intelligent sensors that provide rock-solid stability and collision detection for safer flights, even in windy conditions. Our drones are capable of capturing high quality Ultra HD (4K) video footage and 20MP high-resolution images. Our experienced pilots know just how to get the best out of this technology. Our non-intrusive battery powered equipment ensures minimal noise levels during filming.
Air Photography Services (APS) is Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) compliant and all of our experienced drone pilots hold a CAA Permit for Commercial Operations (CAA Permit 7854), which allows flying in congested areas and at night. Each job is unique and our pilots work directly with the client to get the best aerial imagery from their equipment to satisfy the client’s requirements. Our pilots are vetted to ensure they are friendly, suitably qualified and meet our high professional standards to operate safely.
The misuse of drones, as highlighted in the recent shut down of Gatwick Airport, can have a significant negative impact on the public confidence in this emerging technology. As with any equipment operated in the public domain, such as a car, if used with consideration and according to the rules then the risk to others is minimal. Public safety is our number one priority and that is why we comply with the CAA's Drone Code.
In the unlikely event of any damage or injury being caused as the result of our operations we are fully covered by public liability insurance in accordance with EU Regulations. Please visit our FAQs page for more information on our safety operating procedures.
